“The
must see event of the year” was a comment claimed by the Passion
Organisers; with Super Cars, Pole Dancers, The Vibe Bass Tunnel,
Competitions and Freebies and this isn’t even mentioning the
presence of a Striping Stig impersonator (“The reason it isn’t
mentioned is really cause it doesn’t bare thinking about” – Gray)
and naturally some bangin’ hot modified cars. (“That 1.1 206 did it
for me... even though it is a 1.1 206.” – Jonny Stewart)
With a huge crowd coming out to the show,
before we had even got inside the King’s Hall we were pulled to one
side to see a Party Bus. Unlike the regular “Party” buses this one
lived up to its title, with great I.C.E and a pole for me and the
boys to practice on (“Something I later discovered was not designed
for male use” – Killen). Leaving that we headed inside to see what
the show had to offer. Music pumping and a layout of heavily moded
vehicles, we were impressed... simple as.
With the presence of an SLR McLaren and a
Lamborghini Murcielago, the day was only slightly dimmed with the
absence of the expected million pound, one thousand brake horse
power, Bugatti Veyron. This disappointment was made up however by
the Vibe Tunnel (“Ridiculous bass” – Marty, “It wasn’t good, it just
hurt!” – Gray, “I loved it like!” - Nicky) which displayed over 140
speakers, subs and amps and creates the audio industries best
interactive show experience! VIBE have put in over 1,000 man hours,
used 3,500 ft of cabling, and spent over £150,000 to produce this
amazing 15ft high bass artic. (“Well worth it.” – Jonny Stewart)
Providing over 35,000 watts (“Euuuggghhhh” – Nicky) the 40+ MonoBox,
BlackBox amplifiers and Deltabox controllers power the impressive
new VIBE series of mid range and Subs. (“I’m gettin’ one in the
fiesta” – Gray)
There was a giveaway of a VIBE sub and amp for
the person who could hold it up at arms length for the longest
time...(“With some of the events girls distracting them by whatever
means.” - Gray) a disappointing 14 seconds started things off, but
the following challengers upped the game, with the amp going to the
winner who held out for 42 seconds (“He was a fat guy with bushy
pubes, sick wee man” – Nicky).
An amazing day had by all as far as we could
see and a good lot of photos have been uploaded thanks to Jonny
Stewarts wee brother Callum, who enjoyed his first show, strip
experience and mental driving from his older brother, good work our
boy, might have you out again if you play nice! The day was rounded
up with a Sphinx Kebab, (“We love Sphinx, nice! –
DG Cruising) another first for Callum who fucked off to bed
as the sorting of the blurry/shit and irrelevant photos from some
great shots of some even greater cars began. The Box was an option
for an after party... we didn’t go, we’re sad. |
