Car Audio Centre – Open Day

With the weather coming out to give both me and Jonny S sunburn (“and a gorgeous girl there to give us both heatstroke” – Jonny S) the Car Audio Centre on Boucher Road may not have opened with a bang but was still an enjoyable afternoon for the both of us. With a few of boys from Bangor Cruise being present on our arrival, amongst them Niall, the owner of the Passion 2008 Winning Escort Cosworth, there was a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

A marquee was set up with a DB meter for anyone that wanted to test how loud their system installs were, along with the Car Audio Centres own brand van, filled to the brim with In-Phase I.C.E (“and enough amps to power a concert at the Odyssey by the looks of things” – Marty).

We also made the acquaintance with two spot on lads, Chris and Keith, Keith’s Celica being shown in the Members Motors and Car Audio Centre OD sections. Apologies to Chris, I said I’d get photos of his mint Civic Coupe but the heat made me lose concentration, you can see it in one of the Celica photographs.

The Red Fiesta I fell in love with at Passion also arrived later in the afternoon, setting car alarms off in its wake (“Class” – Gray) and with even more progress; the bass-beast was complete and rattling other peoples boots along with its own!
